How to block access to Plesk for domains over port 8443

Question

  • How to allow access to Plesk:
    • from a hostname URL only (https://server.example.com:8443)?
    • from several URLs and block access to others?
  • How to block access to Plesk for a single domain URL only?

Currently, such functionality is not supported.

Possible workarounds

  • Redirect all 8443 requests to a single URL

    On Linux, configure a redirection so that all https://<domain_name>:8443 requests will be redirected to https://<hostname>:8443. To find out how, refer to this KB article.

  • Use Cloudflare to block access over 8443 for a domain

    If domains are behind Cloudflare, it is possible to block all ports except 80 and 443 on the Cloudflare side. To learn more, visit this guide.
