Symptoms

A website fails to load, with error 500.19

Configuration file is not well-formed XML

Cause

The site's web.config file is invalid.

Resolution

Correct the invalid web config.

It's located at %plesk_vhosts%example.com\httpdocs\web.config
Online validators can help with the troubleshooting.
