Symptoms

Email messages are forwarded to another mailbox, even though forwarding is disabled in Plesk > Domains > example.com > Mail Addresses > jdoe@example.com > Forwarding tab
The following is logged to /var/log/maillog when the messages are forwarded:

sieve: msgid=0cfb26521d4791eaf97b835b91b152ec@domain.tld: redirect action: forwarded to jdoe@example.com

Cause

There's a forwarding rule configured at the webmail level.

Resolution

Log in to the domain's webmail at webmail.example.com
Go to Settings > Filters
Find the filter responsible for the forwarding. For example:
Remove or disable the filter
