Problem updating Plesk using Ubuntu Landscape

Symptoms

  • Unable to update Plesk using Ubuntu 22.04
  • Plesk is installed on Ubuntu 22.04 using Ubuntu Landscape
  • Error in autoinstaller update logs:

    CONFIG_TEXT: Autoinstaller exited with error: Not found source for system packages (release 22.04) in APT software sources configuration:

Cause

Product bug PPPM-14849 fixed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.68

Resolution

To apply the changes and allow update Plesk Obsidian on Ubuntu Landscape, please edit or create the file /root/.autoinstallerrc and add the following line:

CONFIG_TEXT: SKIP_REPOSITORIES_CHECK=yes

It will make apt-cache policy releases check non-fatal and will allow you to update Plesk.
