It is not possible to purchase Plesk extension from Extensions catalog with 403 error

Symptoms

Attempt to buy an extension in Extensions menu provides error 403
Plesk log (/var/log/plesk/panel.log) doesn't show any related errors even with debug mode enabled

Cause

Misconfiguration in our Key Administration system.

Resolution

We are currently investigating the issue.

As a temporary workaround, it is possible to buy extensions at https://www.plesk.com/extensions page. For example, the direct link to the Plesk Email Security is here: https://store.plesk.com/1404/purl-ext-email-security?cond=0.

Note: It will be required to specify Plesk license number from Tools & Settings > License Information, and also press Retrieve Keys button in the same menu after purchase.

A workaround to purchase certificates

1. Copy the raw purchase URL from the browser, for example:

2. Remove the &x-pleskurl=... block so the URL looks as follows:

CONFIG_TEXT: https://store.plesk.com/1404/purl-ext-sectigo-instantSSL?&x-activation-data=ABCDEFGXYJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ01234567890

And paste the edited link back into the browser to access the payment window.
