Extended Lifecycle Support (ELS) for Centos 7 / CloudLinux 7 / Ubuntu 18.04 / Ubuntu 20.04/ Debian 10

Situation

Centos 7 / CloudLinux 7 / Ubuntu 18.04 / Debian 10 will reach their end of life soon and will no longer be supported by their vendors. We understand that migrating to a new operating system can be a complex process. To give you more time and a peace of mind, we’re introducing the Extended Lifecycle Support (ELS) program. This program will run:

• CentOS 7 & CloudLinux 7 – until January 1, 2027 (vendor EOL date - June 30, 2024)

• Ubuntu 18.04 & Debian 10 – until January 1, 2027 (vendor EOL dates - May 31, 2023 for Ubuntu 18.04 / June 30, 2024 for Debian 10)

• Ubuntu 20.04 - until December 31, 2027 (vendor EOL date - April 2025)

Plesk will continue releasing updates and providing technical support for these OSes beyond the vendor EOL dates, until the dates specified. Supporting EOL OSes incurs additional development and maintenance costs, and so taking advantage of this offer will cost extra.
