Question
How to register additional/external webmail service in Plesk?
Answer
- Plesk for Linux includes Roundcube webmail by default. Plesk for Linux also supports SOGo Webmail.
- Plesk for Windows supports MailEnable Web Client, SmarterMail Web Client and IceWarp (Merak) Mail Server Web Client
Warning: Atmail Open is no longer supported in recent Plesk versions. Atmail Open has been unsupported since Plesk 11.5 and may present security risks due to the lack of updates and maintenance, so it's necessary to remove Atmail Open and migrate affected domains to a supported webmail solution before updating to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.78 or newer
Note: Only administrator can add additional webmail. If you are a domain owner, please contact your service provider for assistance.
To register an external webmail service:
- Log into Plesk;
- Go to Tools & Settings > Webmail and click Register Webmail:
- Specify the Webmail service name and Webmail service URL. Specify an address that begins with the http:// or https:// prefix.
- Leave the Available checkbox selected to make the registered webmail service available for selection in hosting plan settings.
