How to install ModSecurity (Web Application Firewall)?

Answer

The following options are possible:

• Install ModSecurity in Plesk web interface: Go to Home > Tools & Settings > Updates and Upgrades and under the web hosting settings select ModSecurity .

• Install ModSecurity in terminal using CLI: Connect to the server using SSH client, execute below command

  # plesk installer --select-release-current --install-component modsecurity

In case of an additional license for ModSecurity is present, ruleset will be automatically updated.
