Question
Is it possible to upgrade OpenSSH on a Plesk server with CentOS 7 or CloudLinux 7 to a higher version?
Answer
Plesk depends on the OpenSSH package version shipped by the operating system vendor. The update is possible only if the OS vendor has the newer version of the package in its repositories.
Warning: It is possible to update OpenSSH from 3rd-party repositories, however, such an update is not supported by Plesk and should be performed at the server owner's risk
If it is required to have a newer OpenSSH version, it is possible to migrate to a new server shipping a higher OpenSSH version. The list of supported Operating Systems can be found here.
