Backup can not be created in Plesk with one of the errors below:
PLESK_ERROR: Document is empty, line 1, column 1 (, line 1)
PLESK_ERROR: None (line 0)
#PPPM-13765 "Backing up can no longer fail with the ‘Document is empty, line 1, column 1 (, line 1)’ and ‘None (line 0)’ error."

Please consider updating your server:
If update is not possible for some reason you may try the following
Connect to the server via SSH.
Download the file attached to this article:
# wget https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/8512088766098/pmmcli
Replace the original
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/pmmclifile with the one downloaded on step 2:
# cp -a pmmcli /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/
- Adjust permissions to this file:
# chmod 0750 /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/pmmcli
