Plesk for Linux kb: technical
- Plesk for Linux
- Plesk and websites are unavailable
- SSH to the server is possible
- All ports are filtered, except the port 22 (SSH)
- The package
iptables-serviceshas been installed just recently
The extension (D)DoS Deflate Interface was updated from version 4.1.0 to 4.1.2. During this update, the package iptables-services was installed and all the firewall rules were reset.
The issue will be fixed in the next extension release.
Currently, the following workaround might be applied:
Connect to the server via SSH
Install the Plesk Firewall:
# plesk installer --select-release-current --install-component psa-firewall
Enable the firewall:
# /usr/local/psa/bin/modules/firewall/settings -e
All the necessary rules will be applied automatically.
Do you know if the next update is imminent?
I have tried to contract and phone you guys.
I have had a website that was hosted on your platform, and the company that done so madmarketing ltd has since gone into liquidation.
And my website is now not on line. Can someone please help me and tell me what i require to get the website back on line??
Hello Isobel Wilson,
We would really like to help but it is unclear at this step whether the issue is related to Plesk anyhow. I would recommend you contact the hosting provider first in order to check whether the server itself is still running. After that, you might contact technical support regarding Plesk if assistance is still required.
Thanks for the reply.
I can not seem to get hold of the host provider. As i said, they have gone into liquidation.
It shows that the website was hosted on your plateform. If there is a fee to be paid etc. That would be ok.
Can you please check. www.pulsepartyhire.co.nz
Look forward to hearing from you
