Workaround
Update Advanced Monitoring and Grafana to the latest version.
If update is not possible for some reason, as a workaround:
Click on a section to expand
For Linux:
- Connect to the server via SSH
- Run the following command to downgrade grafana package:
RPM-based systems (CentOS, RHEL):
# yum downgrade grafana-7.5.7-1.x86_64
APT-based systems (Ubuntu, Debian):
# apt-get install grafana=7.5.5
- Log in to Plesk
- Go to Tools and Settings > System Updates > All Packages tab, find grafana using the search bar, select it and click Lock to prevent automatic update of the package:
Note: When bug is fixed revert this change
For Windows:
- Connect to the server via RDP
-
Download the file grafana-1.2.2-228.zip.
CONFIG_TEXT: Login: plesk

-
Select grafana-1.2.2-228.zip to upload
- Once the installation is complete, go to Advanced Monitoring, and click Fix installation, in case such a button appears

Same problem since yesterday Plesk upgrade (18.0.36) under Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS (GNU/Linux 5.4.0-74-generic x86_64). Please advice. Greets
Wir haben die Version 18.0.35, aber haben seit heute ebenfalls das gleiche Problem.
Hello @Markus,
For Ubuntu 20.04 it is required to downgrade the package with the following command:
# apt-get install grafana=7.5.5
The article will be updated accordingly.
Initial PANIC set in, then tried this and downgrade works.
Version 18.0.35 Update #2, last updated on May 28, 2021 03:24 AM
I'm seeing the same issue on Windows. Can the article be updated to include instructions for a resolution for Windows as well?
Hello @Chad Thornburg,
The article is updated with workaround for Windows systems.
Is there a way to perform the package lock from cli as we have many server to perform this workaround on?
Thanks for the workaround, it worked for me!
Is PLESK planing to fix this issue, so that we can use the up-to-date grafana versions?
Hello @Wolfgang Reidlinger,
The development team has provided an approximate ETA - update should be released next week (14.06.2021 - 18.06.2021). The article will be updated when the bug is fixed.
Hi, when will an update come out?
I can confirm that this is fixed now with the latest update (Plesk Obsidian 18.0.36)
I cannot confirm this.
Since Advanced Monitoring v1.4.3 and Grafana v1.2.3 extensions, Grafana8 is supported. If graphs are not displayed, I suggest checking that the Advanced Monitoring and Grafana extensions are up to date.

Alexander Yamshanov Thanks, I can confirm that it works again after first deinstalling both extension and then reinstalling them
Thanks for fixing it by the updates of Grafana and Advanced Monitoring. Update was successful from broken 8.0.2 to working 8.0.3.
Lots of greets
