Why is my Racent Plesk license expiring?
The partnership between Racent and Plesk has unfortunately come to an end. For this reason, all Plesk licenses bought from Racent will be terminated after 2019-05-30. However, Plesk is fully committed to China and will continue to support our users.
Should I cancel my Racent subscription?
Yes, you may cancel your Racent subscription and stop paying Racent for the license.
I want to continue using Plesk. What should I do?
Thanks for choosing to continue using Plesk after 2019-05-30. You can go directly to the Plesk Online Store where we’re offering all former Racent customers a 15% discount on their new Plesk license for the first year, if you buy your license before 2019-05-30. You can also contact Plesk’s new partner in China to move your existing licenses.
Will I have to pay more for a license if I buy directly from Plesk?
No. The prices in the Plesk Online Store (USD/EUR), when converted to RMB, are roughly the same as those on the Racent website. Additionally, we’re offering a 15% discount on your new Plesk license during the first year if you buy before 2019-05-30. You can also get a quote from Plesk’s new partner in China.
Where can I find the 15% discount voucher?
You can find a voucher in Plesk Home or in the email notification we’ve sent you. Haven’t received it? Please get in touch with us directly.
But what if I paid Racent for a whole year in advance?
Please contact us with a proof of purchase to discuss special terms.
There are no similar products to my current license in the Plesk Online Store.
In the Plesk Online Store, you can buy a new license for the latest Plesk version. It comes with the latest features and security fixes. If you want to keep using your current Plesk legacy licenses of version below Plesk 12, please send us signed consent form (attached with your Plesk licenses details) and we will move your existing licenses.
Will I need to install the new license key in Plesk?
When you buy a new license in the Plesk Online Store, you’ll need to install your new license key in Plesk manually in "Tools & Settings" > "License Management".
If you pay for your licenses to Plesk’s new partner in China, you can continue using Plesk without installing a new license key.
What if I do not buy a new license?
Your existing license will end after 2019-05-30. Websites and email will continue working, but you won’t be able to manage them in Plesk until you buy a new license.
