Plesk Obsidian for Linux

Symptoms
- In an attempt to access Domains > example.com > Mail Accounts under customer account the error below is shown:
PLESK_ERROR: Error: Permission denied: the user does not have the manage permission.
- The same error is shown in an attempt to access the Plesk > WordPress Toolkit.
- In an attempt to access Domains > example.com under the customer account, the process fails with the following error:
PLESK_ERROR: Error: The site does not have physical hosting.
- The Git management option is disabled in Service Plans > Hosting Plans > ExamplePlan > Permissions or in Subscriptions > example.com > Customize > Permissions.
Cause
Product issue:
- #EXTGIT-133 "If a customer’s subscription has the Git management permission denied, the customer no longer sees the “Permission denied: the user does not have the manage permission” error instead of Plesk pages. We spotted this bug in the extension version 1.2.1."
Fixed in:- Git 1.2.2 05 April 2021
Resolution
Please consider updating the Git extension:
Workaround
Until the bug will be fixed, apply one of the workarounds below:
For particular subscription
- Log into Plesk.
- Go Subscriptions > example.com > Customize > Permissions.
- Enable the Git management option.
- Press the Update & Lock/OK button to apply the changes.
For all subscriptions of the service plan
- Log into Plesk.
- Go to Service Plans > Hosting Plans > ExamplePlan > Permissions.
- Enable the Git management option.
- Scroll down and press the Update & Sync button to apply the changes.
