A web application is ran in a Docker container.
A proxy rule is created for
example.com/subfolderin Domains > example.com > Docker Proxy Rules.
When accessing http://example.com/subfolder in the browser, the error 404 from the container is shown.
If proxy rule is created for
example.com/, the application works as expected on http://example.com/.
It is expected behavior for the current implementation of the Docker Proxy Rules in Plesk - when a subfolder is specified in the field URL in the rule, the requests are proxied not to the container's root, but to the same subfolder as in the rule (e.g.
The point for improvement for the Docker extension with ID PPM-2869 was created. It is planned to be implemented in one of the future versions of the extension.
Currently, it is recommended creating a subdomain (e.g. app.example.com) and create a proxy rule for the subdomain's root.
