- Plesk for Linux
Note: This article has the reference to the issue with the fix available:
- #PPPM-8256 "Do not recommend apache piped logs in UI (as PPP-35959)"
- Plesk Obsidian Release Candidate 1.0 04 June 2019
The following message is shown in Tools & Settings > Apache Web Server > Piped Logs on x64 bit systems despite the fact that it is applicable only for x32 architecture, and not recommended for x64 one because it increases CPU usage:
CONFIG_TEXT: This option is recommended if you host more than 300 sites on one server.
The lack of the corresponding warning is Plesk interface bug PPPM-8256, which will be fixed in future updates.
Leave Apache piped logs disabled for x64 bit systems.
