Symptoms

On attempting to start service Plesk Premium Antivirus in Plesk > Tools & Settings > Services Management the following error is shown:
PLESK_ERROR: Unable to start service: Unable to manage service by drwebmng: ('start', 'drweb'). Error: /opt/psa/admin/bin/drwebmng[16484]: Unable to start drweb antivirus daemon

A paid license for Plesk Premium Antivirus is not installed in Plesk
- Plesk update was installed recently

The following command returns empty output:

The following error can be found in
/var/log/syslog
:CONFIG_TEXT: Dec 1 06:39:06 mail drwebd[13260]: Plesk authorization failed: malformed response (no 'response=' field).

:CONFIG_TEXT: qmail-queue[42]: scan: scanning the message(drweb.tmp.p1QAZ) sent by janedoe@example.com to johndoe@example.com failed (error: -2)
Cause
Product issue:

As a workaround, perform the following steps:

Install Panel.ini editor extension

Go to Extensions > My extensions > Panel.ini editor > Edit and add the following value:
