- Plesk for Linux
Plesk installation or update fails with one of the following errors:
CONFIG_TEXT: ERROR: There is no product with the ID 'plesk' at the installation source.
CONFIG_TEXT: ERROR: There is no release with ID 'PLESK_XX_X_XX' of product 'plesk' at the installation source.
Manual installation is interrupted with the following message:
CONFIG_TEXT: Installation will not continue because of your operating system
"'Centos' 'Linux' '6 .4 '' x86_64 '" is not supported.
Please see the Plesk release notes for the full list of
supported operating systems.
An unsupported Operating System is installed on the server.
Consider dist-upgrading your OS or migrate to a new server with one of the currently supported Operating Systems as per the following list.
Note: you may check if your OS was deprecated here: Planned Deprecations and Removals
for what it's worth, it appears that Ubuntu 16.04 is both on the linked supported list https://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/onyx/software-requirements/#s2-1
and the deprecated list
probably need to update that first page.
I've changed the link that was leading to the Onyx section of the documentation, which is as well unsupported, to the Obsidian one.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention!
