What Microsoft SQL Server versions are supported by Plesk?
Answer
The following Microsoft SQL Server versions (all editions) are supported by Plesk:
- SQL Server 2019
- SQL Server 2017
- SQL Server 2016
- SQL Server 2014
- SQL Server 2012
- SQL Server 2008 R2
- SQL Server 2008
- SQL Server 2005
The following Microsoft SQL Server versions can be installed via Plesk Installer (English language):
Note: According to SQL Server 2019 software requirements, SQL Server 2019 can be installed on Windows Server 2016 and greater.
- Microsoft SQL Server Express 2019
- Microsoft SQL Server Express 2017
- Microsoft SQL Server Express 2016
- Microsoft SQL Server Express 2014
- Microsoft SQL Server Express 2012

hi,
i am unable to connect my local sql server with plesk mssql database...where can i get server name from and how can i connect to plesk database with sql server database and i dont have tools section on my side bar..

The article is showing in Applicable to and Note that SQL Server 2019 can be installed on Windows Server 2016 and greater.
But as per this link: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/linux/sql-server-linux-setup?view=sql-server-ver15 it can be installed on Linux as well.
So, please rewrite the Note statement.
