- Plesk for Linux
Creating a subdomain sub.example.com or restoring the example.com domain from a backup results in the following error shown in GUI:
PLESK_ERROR: Error: Unable to configure LogRotation: Unable to turn off log rotation because it is forced on the server level
This is a Plesk bug with ID PPPM-11930, that is triggered when:
Domain example.com is disabled in Plesk
Daily log rotation is enforced server-wide via Tools & Settings > Server Statistics Settings > Force daily log rotation for all domains.
It is planned to be fixed in one of the future product updates.
Until the bug is fixed, apply one of the following workarounds:
Disable the option Force daily log rotation for all domains in Tools & Settings > Server Statistics Settings.
Go to Domains > example.com and select Activate.
