- Plesk Obsidian Preview 07 May 2019 (Linux)
- #PPPM-9586 "Plesk IP reconfigurator do not handle SPF records (as PPP-39286)"
plesk bin reconfigurator command does not change old IP address (203.0.113.2) in SPF TXT records to the new IP address (203.0.113.3).
It is a Plesk bug with ID #PPPM-9586, which is planned to be fixed in one of the future updates.
As a workaround, execute the following:
Connect to the server via SSH
Execute the following:
# plesk db "select @OLD_IP:='203.0.113.2', @NEW_IP:='203.0.113.3'";
# plesk db "update dns_recs set displayVal = REPLACE(displayVal,@OLD_IP,@NEW_IP);"
# plesk db "update dns_recs set val = REPLACE(val,@OLD_IP,@NEW_IP);"
# plesk repair dns -y
Note: Values in
@NEW_IPshould be replaced with the actual IP addresses.
