- Plesk for Linux
Plesk Installer reports the following warning:
CONFIG_TEXT: WARNING: There are custom web server configuration templates at /opt/psa/admin/conf/templates/custom. These custom templates might be incompatible with a new Plesk version, and this might lead to failure to generate web server configuration files. Please check https://support.plesk.com/hc/articles/213399669 for details.
Note: If Plesk Premium Mail is installed this warning is expected as a template is added by the extension
In some cases, custom templates located in /opt/psa/admin/conf/templates/custom may cause Apache and nginx failure due to invalid/old configuration.
If you are sure that these custom templates are correct on your server, then you may ignore this warning.
If in doubt, just rename the 'custom' directory:
for CentOS/RHEL-based distributions
# mv /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/templates/custom /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/templates/custom.bak
for Debian/Ubuntu-based distributions
# mv /opt/psa/admin/conf/templates/custom /opt/psa/admin/conf/templates/custom.bak
