Question
- Backup to Cloud Pro license has been purchased but the extension is not present in Extensions.
- Also it is not shown under Tools & Settings > License Management > Additional License Keys
How can be verified that the license has been applied correctly?
Answer
Backup to Cloud Pro extension is not an archetypal extension that can be installed and be shown in Extensions menu in Plesk control panel. Instead, it is an embedded/unlocked functionality on Backup Manager that appears in the Extensions catalog so it can be purchased in a comfortable way.
The easiest way to verify is Tools & Settings > License Management and at the very bottom you will see:
Once the license is bought, the functionality is bound to the main Plesk license and the functionality is ready and available to use and schedule backups in remote storage such as Google Drive, Amazon S3, DropBox, etc.

In case the license is not purchased the following can be seen in the different extensions:

In case it is purchased and correctly bound to the Plesk main license the following can be seen instead:
Note: Once the license is bought, it is needed to go to Tools and Settings > License Management and click on Retrieve Keys

yeh absolutely fantastic. after purchasing this extension, it updates your licence and you get locked out of power user mode.
it locks your profile in service provider mode, and you're screwed. you can't see all your domains. thanks, guys!

This happens because partner from whom you purchased main Plesk license configured settings that way, execute the below command from SSH to unlock: plesk bin poweruser --on -simple false -lock false
Ho acquistato una licenza per il mio plesk PLSK. di google backup ma non risulta nelle chiavi del mio plesk. COme faccio ad installarla che non ho neanche le chiavi di licenza della licenza Backup Google?

Try retrieving the key at Tools & Settings > License Management > Retrieve Keys.
In case this wouldn't help, consider contacting support https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608509 using the Backup to Cloud Pro license, which should look like EXT.XXXXXXXX and may be found at Tools & Settings > License Management > Additional License Keys
Just purchased license for this extension. License management not updated. Backup page not update. No means of accessing the functionality.
Tried contacting plesk support but it just refers me to our host who says it is plesk's responsibility.
What's happening here? 🤷♂️
