- Plesk for Linux
A notification that is sent from Mailman to a mailing list administrator's email address about a new post, which needs to be moderated, contains an email address of another domain that is not owned by the administrator of this mailing list.
This is a Plesk bug with ID PPPM-6311, which is planned to be fixed in future product updates.
Note: This guide is intended for Plesk administrators. If you are a domain owner, please contact your service provider for assistance.
Restart Mailman so that Return-Path, Errors-To and Sender fields will contain a Plesk hostname instead of some domain name.
Connect to the Plesk server via SSH.
# service mailman restart
Create an event handler in Plesk that will restart the Mailman service every time a new mailing list is created:
In Plesk, got to Tools & Settings > Event Manager and click Add Event Handle.
Specify settings as follows:
PLESK_INFO: Event: Mailing list created
Priority: 0 (lowest)
Command: service mailman restart
Apply the changes.
