- Plesk for Linux
The following message appears during configuring FTP repository, or notifications with the same text are sent during the scheduled backup:
PLESK_WARN: Warning: Unable to resume an upload of the file to the storage: the content of the retrieved file 'Sln1U2Si96Sa036QXuEh82yE' does not match the content that was previously sent 'Sln1U2Si96Sa036QXuEh82yEO2x7Sa28YNbna8O6E'
Check that you can resume uploads to the storage. You can check it independently with the commands:
echo 123 | curl -T - --ftp-create-dirs -v -P - -u ftp_username 'ftp://ftp_server/./test-dir/test-file.txt'
echo 456 | curl -T - -a --ftp-create-dirs -v -P - -u ftp_username 'ftp://ftp_server/./test-dir/test-file.txt'
curl -v -P - -u ftp_username 'ftp://ftp_server/./test-dir/test-file.txt'
FTP server does not allow resuming uploads in case when the upload was interrupted (e.g. if there are some network issues).
Some FTP servers do not have this option enabled by default.
Allow FTP server to resume uploads
For Linux check the following article AllowStoreRestart
For Windows check the following article FTP File Handling <fileHandling>
