- Plesk for Windows
The following message appears during configuring FTP repository or notifications with the same text are sent during the scheduled backup:
PLESK_WARN: Warning: Unable to resume an upload of the file to the storage: the content of the retrieved file does not match the content that was previously sent.
FTP server does not allow resuming uploads in case when the upload was interrupted (e.g. if there are some network issues).
Some FTP servers do not have this option enabled by default.
Allow FTP server to resume uploads:
For Linux with ProFTPd FTP server, check the following article AllowStoreRestart
For Windows Server, check the following article FTP File Handling <fileHandling>
Think you for the resolution.
But in my case, I cannot modify the conf of the ftp server where I upload the archive files.
So my question would be : how modify my debian pesk in order it can upload without the resume option.
Hello @Yanic gornet,
Currently, it is not possible to change Backup Manager behavior by design.
However, I have created the request on Plesk UserVoice for the possibility of implementing this. Please go to the link, vote and add any additional comments you would like. The more votes it gets the higher the chances of implementing in future versions of Plesk.
Here, we have been voting for nothing. Plesk hasn't added that feature before because they wanna sell the backup plugin and make more money. It's not fair. I know guys you won't implement that feature. Maybe 2 years later, maybe 5 years?
This has already been requested a long time ago. I think this should be fixed ASAP. Because as you know most of FTP servers don't support resuming...
Hello Serdar Koçak
Thank you for the feedback. I saw you've also left a comment on the feature suggestion page. RnD team reviews such comments. Your participation is appreciated.
