Unable to add a DNS TXT record longer than 255 symbols in Plesk. For example, a DKIM record.
This is a Plesk bug with ID PPPM-8963 which is planned to be fixed in one of the future Plesk updates.
Note: This workaround is applicable for Plesk Onyx 17.8 for Linux only.
Connect to the server via SSH
Backup the following files and replace them with the ones from the attachment:
Create a backup of 'psa' database. How to backup/restore a Plesk database dump?
Execute the following database queries:
# plesk db 'ALTER TABLE dns_recs CHANGE val val varchar(10000)'
# plesk db 'ALTER TABLE dns_recs CHANGE displayVal displayVal varchar(10000)'
# plesk db 'ALTER TABLE dns_recs_t CHANGE val val varchar(10000)'
# plesk db 'ALTER TABLE dns_recs_t CHANGE displayVal displayVal varchar(10000)'
