The following error occurs in an attempt to renew Let's Encrypt certificate for a domain:
PLESK_ERROR: Error: Could not issue a Let's Encrypt SSL/TLS certificate for example.com
Failed to connect to the Let's Encrypt server https://acme-v01.api.letsencrypt.org.
Please try again later or report the issue to support.
Could not obtain directory: cURL error 35: Peer reports it experienced an internal error. (see http://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/c/libcurl-errors.html)
PLESK_ERROR: Could not obtain directory: cURL error 7: Failed connect to acme-v01.api.letsencrypt.org:443; Connection timed out (see http://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/c/libcurl-errors.html)

Connect to a Plesk server via SSH;
Comment or remove the custom line in
/etc/hostsfile using vi editor:
CONFIG_TEXT: # 203.0.113.2 acme-v01.api.letsencrypt.org
- Make sure that the used nameservers specified in
/etc/resolv.conffile resolve acme-v01.api.letsencrypt.org correctly.
Flush DNS cache if required.
Leave only google nameserver 126.96.36.199 if required.
