- Plesk Onyx 17.0 for Linux
Note: This article has the reference to the issue with the fix available:
- #PPPM-6171 "If the PHP handler was changed to “FPM application served by nginx”,
the setting was not displayed on the PHP Settings page."
Plesk 17.0.17 is installed. Domain
example.comshows the following error:
CONFIG_TEXT: 403 Forbidden
Note: If Plesk version is not 17.0.17, use following guide: [HUB] 403 Forbidden
Or Plesk 17.8.11MU15 or earlier is installed and the error below occurs during installation of the AfterLogic WebMail in Domains > example.com > Applications:
CONFIG_TEXT: Unable to install the app because its installation requirements are not met.
PHP extension The 'pdo_mysql' extension was not found.
Proxy mode is disabled in Domain > example.com > Apache & Nginx Settings.
PHP handler set to application served by Apache or to FastCGI application in Domain > example.com > PHP Settings.
Nginx proxies don't request to Apache, thus PHP scripts cannot be served by Apache. This is Plesk bug with ID #PPPM-6171, which is fixed in Plesk 17.5.3 update 12. For the Plesk 17.8 fix is going to be included in the 17.8.11 update 16, within bug fix #PPPM-8988.
Consider Plesk upgrade to the newest version. If Plesk upgrade is not convenient, apply a workaround below:
- Log into Plesk.
- Apply one of solutions below:
Enable Proxy mode in Domain > example.com > Apache & Nginx Settings.
Set PHP hander set as FPM application served by nginx in Domain > example.com > PHP Settings.
