- Plesk for Linux
- Domain is configured to store it's backups on a remote FTP storage, but domain's disk usage statistics in Domains > example.com > View More Statistics still shows that the backup occupies the disk space.
- Domain's scheduled backup in Domains > example.com > Backup Manager > Schedule and daily maintenance task and are configured to be started approximately at the same time:
# grep -r 50plesk-daily /var/log/cron* | grep start
Jun 23 00:14:01 run-parts(/etc/cron.daily): starting 50plesk-daily
Jun 24 00:15:01 run-parts(/etc/cron.daily): starting 50plesk-daily
Jun 25 00:20:01 run-parts(/etc/cron.daily): starting 50plesk-daily
- If the daily task for a domain is executed manually at a different time, domain's statistics gets updated correctly and the backups are not included into the domain's disk space:
# /usr/local/psa/bin/sw-engine-pleskrun /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/DailyMaintainance/script.php -f ExecuteStatistics example.com
Daily task and the scheduled backup are running at approximately the same time and the backup process does not get completed when the daily task has already re-calculated the statistics. As a result, backup is not transferred to FTP yet at the time when statistics gets recalculated and actually takes some space on a local Plesk server.
