Why only one backup file is shown in Dropbox directory while there are multiple Dropbox backups in Plesk interface?

Why is there no option to disable this? Its an extremely messy way to do backups

Brendan Tully Hello, could you please provide specific details and use-cases on why current behavior is not optimal for you?

To do a restore its a mess of going through dropbox revisions - doesnt really invoke much confidence!

Thank you for the feedback Brendan Tully I will pass it to our development team. To simplify restoration it is better to perform a task from Plesk interface itself: if you're restoring data on a new server connect Dropbox with new Plesk and you will see available dates under Backup Manager.

Ah ok so plesk will figure out the revisions thing itself?

Hi, I have the same reaction as Brendan Tully : this is not really easy nor reassuring when you have to navigate through backups in Dropbox.

I would really prefer to have the choice of listing all backups by date with a file for each day as presented in Plesk.

I imagine this has been done to allow backups on free and small accounts since revisions are kept for 30 days without extra costs on storage.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Plesk should have option to choose between save "only one file" or "multiple file with backup dates" to the Dropbox.

Also should have an option to specific how many total full backup to keep at Dropbox and then Plesk automatically delete old backup too.

I need six months or one year full weekly backup at Dropbox.

    Thanks.

    Hi

I would like to have all files separated too.

when i sync this dropbox folder with a disk i only get 1 file so my double backup goal doesn't work.

    Hi,

I would also like to see the files saved separately. Can't you make this an option?

I do have a dropbox plus account but my history is only stored for 30 days. So making backups every month and being able to go back 3 months doesn't work this way.

I have a license for Backup to Cloud Pro, but if I can only go back 30 days the whole idea of backup history is irrelevant.

    Thanks
