Strong passwords generated by WHMCS are defined as medium in Plesk.
Plesk security policy is set to Strong in Tools & Settings > Security Policy > Minimum password strength.
Password contains "[" and "]" symbols.
Differences in Plesk and WHMCS algorithm for generating strong passwords. "[" and "]" symbols are not considered as special symbols in Plesk.
The definition of Plesk strong password:
These passwords are at least 8 characters long and have at least one occurrence of upper and lower-case characters, digits, and special symbols.
Where special symbols are: !, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *, ?, _, ~
- Log into Plesk.
- Change the security policy to Medium in Tools & Settings > Security Policy > Minimum password strength:
As an alternative, change the password in WHMCS to more complex one.
