- Plesk for Linux
Note: This article has the reference to the issue with the fix available:
While changing log rotation for service plan using the command like below:
# plesk bin service_plan -u "Unlimited" -log-bytime daily -log-max-num-files 7 -log-compress true -log-rotate true -manage_log false
the following error message is displayed:
CONFIG_TEXT: Unable to update the hosting plan: Unable to update domain template: Unable to update LogRotation object: Some fields are empty or contain an improper value. ('period' = 'DAILY')
This is Plesk bug with ID #PPPM-8602 that is planned to be fixed in future Plesk updates.
As a workaround replace the file cuDomainTemplate.php with the attached file.
Connect to the server via SSH;
Run the following command:
# wget -O /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/api-common/cuDomainTemplate.php https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/360006130934/cuDomainTemplate.file
# wget -O /opt/psa/admin/plib/api-common/cuDomainTemplate.php https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/360006130934/cuDomainTemplate.file
