- User "johndoe" is an additional FTP user, which may be checked in Domains > example.com > FTP Users.
Additional FTP users can not log in over SSH.
SSH access is possible for the system user only. Check the Domains > example.com > Web Hosting Access for the appropriate user to log in over SSH or SCP:
