How to change remote SmarterMail server hostname correctly? It is not possible to change it in Plesk UI in Tools & Settings > Server Components: hostname field is greyed out, only Login, Port and Password can be modified.
Do the following to properly change the hostname:
- Login to Plesk
- Switch default Mail server from Remote SmarterMail to None in Tools & Settings > Server Components. It will change it's name to Remote SmarterMail Server (not configured).
- Configure Remote SmarterMail parameters, including the new hostname
- Switch default Mail server from None to Remote SmarterMail
