Is it possible to automatically renew SmarterMail certificates using Let’s Encrypt?
Let’s Encrypt certificates are added to the Microsoft Certificate Store but SmarterMail cannot read the certificates found in the Microsoft Certificate Store. Thus, certificates used to protect SmarterMail cannot be renewed automatically with Let's Encrypt means.
SmarterMail only recognizes certificates in they are have .pfx or .cer extension.
However, it is possible to use SmarterMail tool called Certify. It allows automatic detection of new certificates, exporting them from the Microsoft Certificate Store into .pfx or .cer files and adding them to SmarterMail.
Check official SmarterMail documentation for details and instructions.
