Unable to enable Plesk Firewall Rules Management in Tools & Settings > Firewall:
PLESK_ERROR: Error: The firewall rules management has not been enabled.
The following error can be found in
/var/log/plesk/panel.logwith debug enabled:
CONFIG_TEXT: DEBUG [util_exec] [5ae09e8a777a3] Stdout: safeact: Execution of /sbin/ip6tables -t filter -L failed with return code 3.Stderr is ip6tables v1.4.21: can't initialize ip6tables table `filter': Table does not exist (do you need to insmod?) Perhaps ip6tables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.
Checking iptable's rules results in the error:
# iptables -L
iptables v1.4.21: can't initialize iptables table `filter': Table does not exist (do you need to insmod?) Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.
The following command returns no output:
# ls -la /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/kernel/net/ipv4/netfilter/iptable_*
# lsmod | grep iptable
Due to kernel update, necessary modules of the currently used kernel are already disabled or removed.
Note: If the server is on a Virtuozzo container and as the modules are being managed from the hardware node, reboot the hardware node.
Complete kernel update by rebooting with the new one, or downgrade to the current kernel.
