Plesk notifications are not sent: Postfix is running with backwards-compatible default settings

    Error:

    postfix/master[24695]: /etc/postfix/master.cf: line 124: using backwards-compatible default setting chroot=y
    postfix/master[24695]: /etc/postfix/master.cf: line 126: using backwards-compatible default setting chroot=y

     

    If activating  "COMPATIBILITY_LEVEL = 2" as recommended I can not any longer send E-Mails. How can I solve this

    Can it crash the postfix?

    Postfix was at 02.10.2020 uptoated

    # grep postfix yum.log-20201007
    Oct 02 11:33:02 Updated: 2:postfix-3.5.6-2.centos.7+p18.0.30.0+t200826.0942.x86_64 

    and yesterday the postfix crashed

     

    # /var/log/messages

    Hello, "terminating on signal 15" means just regular Postfix stop with for example "service postfix stop" or "service postfix restart" command. Also, please note that Postfix can be restarted in case any changes to its configuration performed, so most likely it was just regular restart as a result of some settings being changed.
