Question
How to move a database to the different database server within Plesk?
Answer
Note: Both database servers must be connected to Plesk: Adding and Removing Database Servers
- Log into Plesk
- Navigate to the Domains > example.com > Databases:
- Click on the Copy button under the database that should be moved to another database server
- Select the desired target database server in the Destination database server field:
- Specify the same name to the Destination database input field:
- Click Ok

Hello,
I had problem when copying the database to another server, the error message is : unable to create a database %%destination%% on the specified server.
The server target also has plesk server, and i type username and password for database on the destination server.
Please give me advice.
