- Plesk for Linux
How to sync Scheduled task in Plesk with the corresponding cronjob via?
When a new scheduled task is created in Plesk a new crontab is created in the system and the information about cron task is stored in psa database.
Plesk GUI shows the info from the database.
If scheduled task is modified in the database the content in Plesk DB will not be synced with the crontab until opening Plesk > Tools & Settings > Scheduled Tasks > %Schedule_task% and clicking Apply.
If crontab is changed directly via CLI or crontab file was edited manually in /var/spool/cron/:
# crontab -e -u <username>
This change will propagate to Plesk DB automatically on a refreshing current Plesk page or logging in to Plesk in a browser.
For server-wide cron job, it is required to manually propagate the changes under Plesk > Tools & Settings > Scheduled Tasks > Refresh
