- Plesk for Windows
Unable to receive incoming emails to a Plesk mailbox, bounce back email is sent to the sender:
CONFIG_TEXT: mail.example.com said: 503 This mail server requires authentication when attempting to send to a non-local e-mail address. Please check your mail client settings or contact your administrator to verify that the domain or address is defined for this server. (in reply to RCPT TO command).
Mail misconfiguration: the settings that are defined on a MailEnable side are not in affect, configuration is corrupted.
- Connect to the server via RDP
Open Windows Command Prompt (CMD) in a Windows server: Right-click the Start charm, and then click Command Prompt (Admin).
- Execute this command:
C:\> plesk repair mail example.com
- If all domains are affected, repair mail configuration for all domains:
C:\> plesk repair mail
