@Andre, could you please clarify, Plesk was upgraded today or it was a clean install?

  • My server is currently broken, cant access any extensions or settings

Just upgraded Plesk 12 to 17.8.11, extensions menu is missing, the command returns error "Unable to open the source file, Unknown error".

    I searched and I don't see ext-catalog.zip anywhere.

    Follow up:

I did not see the file anywhere in the Plesk program folder, but I found it in the plesk data folder (on another drive)

I reran the command using plesk_data instead of plesk_dir and it worked.

    plesk bin extension -i "%plesk_data%var\ext-catalog.zip"

  • Im able to hover over extensions and its completely blank.  If i click on links they bring me to an apache error

Error: Failed to update the ModSecurity rule set. Details

Hello, according to your description, it is not related to this article. Without RDP access it may be impossible to find and fix the problem

I suggest you contacting Service Provider or server's administrator.

  • unable to connect RDP
