- Plesk was upgraded from Plesk 11.0.9 to Plesk Onyx.
While trying to retrieve the license key at Plesk > Tools and Settings > License management > Retrieve Keys the following error appears:
PLESK_ERROR: Error: The version of your installed software is 17.5 for Unix/Linux, but the current license version is 11.0-11.6 for Unix/Linux. Upgrades from 11.0-11.6 for Unix/Linux to 17.5 for Unix/Linux are not available for this license.
The key was purchased for Plesk 11 and needs to be upgraded in order to use it on newer versions.
For Plesk Partners
Upgrade license in KA or Partner Central. If it cannot be done, contact sales representative.
When the license is upgraded, in Plesk go to Tools & Settings > License Management > Plesk License Key and click Retrieve Keys to update the license.
