- Some components (for example, CGI support and Perl support) are missing on tab Websites & Domains > example.com > Hosting settings when logged into Plesk under customer's account.
- The ability to manage Hosting Settings are not granted in Service plan on which subscription is assigned in Plesk > Service plans > example > Permissions > Hosting settings management.
- Corresponding Hosting parameters settings are not enabled on Service plan level in Plesk > Service plans > example > Hosting parameters.
The following error is shown when trying to change the document root in Domains > example.com > Node.js.
PLESK_ERROR: Unable to change document root: Permission denied.
Corresponding parameters are disabled in subscription's Service plan. The permission to manage Hosting parameters settings is not granted.
2. Enable desired parameters in Plesk > Service plans > example > Permissions > Hosting settings management
Grant permission to manage Hosting settings for subscription example.com in Plesk > Service plans > example > Permissions > Hosting settings
Note: Perl support is disabled by default since Plesk 12.5. To enable it install mod_perl Apache module in Plesk > Tools&Settings > Updates&Upgrades > Web Hosting > Apache.
