Note: This article has the reference to the issue with the fix available:

an incorrect password for an FTP storage."

When trying to access the menu Tools & Settings > Backup Manager, the following error is shown:
PLESK_ERROR: Error: Login denied
PLESK_ERROR: Error: FTP host resolve error
It is the Plesk bug with ID PPP-35755, which was fixed in Plesk Onyx 17.8.11 Update 3.
If Plesk Onyx 17.8.11 is installed, install latest Plesk updates.
If earlier Plesk versions are installed, consider upgrading to Plesk Onyx 17.8.11.
In case installing updates or upgrade is not possible, use the workaround: change the backup settings to use local storage instead of FTP. To do it, perform the following steps:
If the issue still persists after that, remove Backup Manager database.
# rm /usr/local/psa/PMM/tasks/tasks.db
# rm /opt/psa/PMM/tasks/tasks.db
C:\> del "%plesk_dir%"\PMM\tasks\tasks.db
