    All of those suggestions are PAID extensions.

    Considering that ~90% of Plesk depends already on FOSS/Open Source this is unacceptable.

    Hi @David Roussel,

    For now, these extensions are the only alternative.

    We do have a feature request to add ClamAV into Plesk.
    Consider voting for it and left the comment why ClamAV suits your needs better then other anti-viruses.

    I'd also recommend following this article, to receive the notification once it is updated.

    Plesk are offering integration with PAID Antivirus Dr.Web - which does not deliver

    there is no status monitor, no history how many e-mails have been cleaned etc. when automatic licence retrial fails, you are left without protection

    there is no email notification to inform admin something is wrong with Plesk - Dr.Web

    Might be worth mentioning that the new plesk email security extension (also costs a few pennies) uses clamav

    As found in the corresponding UserVoice suggestion for Plesk (https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions/suggestions/4078720-add-clamav-as-module-in-plesk-to-protect-better-th):

    https://www.lloyd-day.me/migrate-plesk-to-clamav/ provides a a simple solution if you want to integrate ClamAV yourself.

    By not uninstalling DrWeb (free protection of 10 mailboxes), you can even run both in parallel by adapting the information in step 4 (settings for /etc/postfix/main.cf):

    For Dr. Web and ClamAV, please use:

    smtpd_milters = {inet:127.0.0.1:12768, default_action=accept}, { inet:127.0.0.1:3381, protocol=6, default_action=tempfail }
    non_smtpd_milters = inet:127.0.0.1:12768

    This setting also helps to avoid issues when DrWeb fails to scan e-mails (happens quite frequently in the free version)...

    Given the simplicity of integrating ClamAV, I still see some hope that this is integrated for all Plesk customers - without additional fees since ClamAV is freely available!

    Does the integration still work with the current version 18.0.30?

    Hello Mark S.

    It's still included in Pro version of Plesk Email Security.

    Do you have some issues with it?

    Hy Ivan,

    Indeed I did! ClamAV® is an open source (GPL) anti-virus engine and Plesk Email Security Pro costs 9€/month
    Of course the work that has been done should be paid for. But I still think that free software should have a usable free base in Plesk.

    Thank you for the clarification and feedback.

    In Plesk Email Security ClamAV is preconfigured and integrated into the extension to work as a part of the solution for enchanting security.

    Hi Yaroslav Tarasov,

    Please note, you were mentioning:

    Admin-Ahead Realtime File Upload Scanner

    However this is NOT offered on the Plesk extension catalog.

    Hello @Ehud Ziegelman,

    Admin-Ahead Realtime File Upload Scanner is available only for old Plesk versions that are no longer supported. The developers of the extension did not modify it to work with modern Plesk Obsidian versions, so you can't install it on Plesk Obsidian from the extension catalog.

    To avoid any confusion, I have removed Admin-Ahead extension from the article.

    It's modular pricing on crucial functionality.
