Unable to secure a Plesk interface on a management node in Plesk Multi Server:
PLESK_ERROR: Error: certmng failed: certmng: Unable to chown temporary certificate file /usr/local/psa/var/certificates/certVrD9Qp: No such file or directory System error 2: No such file or directory
This is considered to be a product defect with ID EXTPMS-1379, which will be fixed in future updates.
For default certificate
Download the required certificate at Tools & Settings > SSL/TLS Certificates.
Connect to the Plesk server via SSH.
Upload the certificate to the server to
/usr/local/psa/var/certificates/directory, for example:
Execute the following command:
# plesk sbin certmng --setup-cp-certificate --certificate=/usr/local/psa/var/certificates/cert.pem
For purchased certificate
Connect to the server via SSH.
Create the /usr/local/psa/var/certificates/certVDDdMN file, mentioned in the error:
# touch /usr/local/psa/var/certificates/certVDDdMN
In Plesk, go to Tools & Settings > SSL/TLS Certificates > mn.example.com (management node) > Comodo-HostManager.
Copy the content from CSR, Private key (*.key), Certificate (*.crt) and CA certificate (*-ca.crt) fields and manually paste into the created /usr/local/psa/var/certificates/certVDDdMN file.
Run the command below:
# plesk sbin certmng --setup-cp-certificate --certificate=/usr/local/psa/var/certificates/certVDDdMN
Go to Tools & Settings > SSL/TLS Certificates > mn.example.com (management node) and select the Comodo-HostManager certificate by pressing the [Change] button in the Certificate for securing Plesk field.
