There is no
/usr/sbin/sendmailsymlink on the server:
# ls -l /usr/sbin/sendmail
ls: cannot access /usr/sbin/sendmail: No such file or directory
Debian-based OS is running on the server.
Postfix component is marked as non-installed at Plesk > Tools & Settings > Server Components:
PLESK_INFO: Component was not installed
Mail tab is missing at Plesk > Subscriptions > example.com
Mail section is no longer available at Plesk > Tools & Settings.
The error below is found in
CONFIG_TEXT: Setting up postfix (3.1.0-3ubuntu0.3) ...
/var/lib/dpkg/info/postfix.postinst: 624: /var/lib/dpkg/info/postfix.postinst: newaliases: not found
dpkg: error processing package postfix (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 127
Missing symbolic link after incomplete upgrade.
Connect to the server via SSH.
Re-create the missing symlink:
# ln -s /usr/lib/plesk-9.0/postfix-sendmail-wrapper /usr/sbin/sendmail
Make sure that PLESK_LIBEXEC_DIR is specified as follows in
CONFIG_TEXT: # Directory for service utilities

Launch Plesk installer to complete
# plesk installer
Reconfigure all domains and mailboxes:
# plesk repair mail
