I have two servers, CentOS 6 & 7, both exhibiting this issue, neither of them have a /etc/nginx/conf.d/example.conf.

    Hi @Sysadmin,

The "/etc/nginx/conf.d/example.conf" is just an example of the affected file. The correct file can be another and have to be found from the error message:

New configuration files for the Apache web server were not created due to the errors in configuration templates:
nginx: [warn] duplicate MIME type "text/html" in /etc/nginx/conf.d/some_configuration_file.conf:2

Also, you can find the affected file name directly from the server by executing the next command:

    nginx -t

The output will be the following one:

nginx: [warn] duplicate MIME type "text/html" in /etc/nginx/conf.d/some_configuration_file.conf:2
nginx: the configuration file /etc/nginx/nginx.conf syntax is ok
nginx: configuration file /etc/nginx/nginx.conf test is successful
