Question
Is it possible to deploy WordPress websites pre-configured with a custom theme and plugins?
Answer
It is possible with Wordpress Toolkit extension. Set a template containing selected plugins and themes as follows:
- Log into Plesk as Administrator;
- Go to Wordpress > Sets and click Create Set;
- Type in a name for the new set and click Create:
- Add the necessary plugins and themes by choosing the accordingly from "+ Add Plugins" and "+ Add Themes":
- Choose the set which should be installed with WordPress in Service Plans > examplePlan > Additional services tab:

Hi Ivan,
This level does not seem very logical to me. Mostly the resellers make the WordPress setup for their customers. Would it be possible to change this in a future version of Plesk?
Peter
Great feature. Uploading a custom theme however results in "Request failed with status code 500". Seems a bug in the Plesk Wordpress Toolkit. Any suggestions?
Hello @Peter,
To have access to "Sets" tab it is required to be logged in as Plesk Administrator.
Plesk administration does not have levels. The roles are Customer, Reseller, Administrator.
What level of 'server administration' should one have to able to make/edit sets?
Hello @Peter,
Thank you for the feedback.
As I can see, you have already created a feature suggestion at Plesk User Voice.
In case this suggestion will become popular, it will be implemented.
Also, I would recommend leaving your feedback about the current functionality of WP Toolkit for Resellers here.
Thanks Ivan. It could only be seen if it is published enough to get this feature in the next Toolkit release ;-)
